Level: Fundamental This course will prepare newcomers or those with minimal lighting experience to the lighting industry with an introduction to lighting terminology, nomenclature, system technology and basic applications. What you will learn: Fundamentals of light, vision and colorLighting technology (LED and Traditional)Lighting system operating characteristicsBasic lighting applicationsBasic understanding of controls and control optionsReference tools Who should attend:Electrical distributors and wholesaler personnel, electrical contractors, utility account executives and anyone who is relatively new to the business of lighting. A minimum working knowledge of lamps and lighting is preferred though not required.Course Fee and Information:$450 (Wilmington, MA – 2.5 days) covers course materials, breakfasts, lunches and a group dinner. Out of town attendees arrive the night before class.Hotel bookings collected during registration.Transport provided to and from hotel to class each day and back to airport.
